Now it’s time for the engineering students to prepare for a common entrance test to peruse the entrance in various science and technologies. This exam was conducted by the ministry of human resource development and is all set to conduct in the next going year i.e., 2013. This test will going to be conducted nation-wide and the eligible institutes are only funded by the government centers.
As with this topic arises all the institutes under each and every state has accepted this proposal that to conduct a common entrance exam for all those students who are going to join behalf of the engineering. The admissions are accepted for those colleges which are funded by the government. Now there are only some institutions like that some of them are IIT’s, NIT’s, IIIT's IISER’s and also some deemed universities which work on their own.
The name for this exam is called as Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET) 2013. This name was recommended by the ramasami committee. The structure of this exam was also divided in to two parts main and also advanced. Both the exams are object oriented and also the duration of both the exams are same and also can be conducted on the same date.
If a student wants an admission as a engineering student he must be able to score a minimum percentage of 40 in his 12th standard. But if you want seat under these colleges you have to score a minimum percent of 60 under all sources which they had. The ministry of the human resource and development telling that they want to change this system by introducing a new type in which all the candidates can be free from the pressure. This will done by introducing this ISEET. As far as in India more than 15 lakh students and going to write examination for engineering around attempting over 150 exams in nation-wide. By introducing this examination the board will reduce the number of examinations which are attempting by the students and can be done the syllabus of all the students in the same structure.
ISEET will have two parts one is main and the other is advanced. Both will be done on the same date between 10am and 5pm. This test will having objective type questions, test comprehension, critical thinking and has logical thinking. The state government will decide the score for those students in the main advance individually. A committee will be headed for every state and will be able to take the decisions in that state. First this exam will be conducted under CBSE and later this can be modulates and will be conducted by different academic institution headed by each group. This will done under the director of IIT Kanpur.
