Ramayapatnam is the place which comes Ullavapadu Mandal near by Ongole ,It is famous for beace in Prakasam District. Ramayapatnam is located 15KM far from NH5. It is Glad to hear that Government is going to built Shipyard at Ramayapatnam and their allotted 10 crores for the construction of that shipyard.Government had already given orders to respective District collector to gather the land for the process.
According to Statistics Ramayapatnam Shipyard will be 14th largest Shipyard all over the INDIA and First largest Shipyard in ANDHRAPRADESH. Their are already few shipyard in cochin and Mumbai. These Shipyard are very useful for to facilitate construction regarding Ships and reparing the Ships. Due to this Shipyard unemployment can be reduced as it provides jobs nearly 10,000 members.
To built these Shipyard it occupies 5000 acres So these 5000 acres land includes both private and government and also some land belongs to villages. According to surveys most of the land belongs to government. But few villages would be vacant due to this construction because those villages are in the construction area. As villagers losses their own properties government promised to provide certain facilities to regain their properties in another way. As villagers have to move to some other place.For that also government will provide certain facilities.
Due to this shipyard there will be so much useful in the future in certain aspects like exporting and importing Minerals , Iron ore and Sea foods. At present these goods are getting from Chennai. So it will be convenient to export and import the things. Not only regarding exporting and importing ,the land rates near by ramayapatnam also increased up to 3-10 lakhs.
Collector ANITHA RAJENDRA says that Ramayapatnam Shipyard will brings national recognition. So that people belongs to Exporting and importing will be more beneficial. The work regarding the construction of shipyard will be start as soon as the government release the funds.
