The standard branches in Architecture are B.Arch and B.Planning.The course duration of Architecture is 5 years.The students who wants to enter into Architecture should have the knowledge about maths, physics and chemistry.If a student is good towards those subjects is eligible for this B.Arch. At present there are so many colleges providing facility to study Architecture Engineering.
Entrance Exams:
National Aptitude Test in Architecture shortly named as NATA.NATA is the main entrance exam for Architecture. It is conducted by National Institute of Advanced study in Architecture and Academic Council of Architecture. The candidate who are eligible for Nata exam will have 9000 seats to study Architecture Engineering.
AIEEE is the other entrance exam for Architecture Engineering. So students willing to study at IIT can join Architecture in IITs. While entrance students have to attend particular subjects like maths, drawing and lastly Aptitude. In these IIT seats will be limited up to 950.At present only two IIT centers are providing Architecture Engineering there are IIT-kharagpur and IIT-Roorkee.
Advanced Study:
After completing 5 years of Architecture Engineering students can go for interested subjects for specialization. so that they can be “Master” in a particular subject. For that they have to join in PG(Post graduation). After that Ph. D can be done as per the student interest. At present at level only urban planning, building engineering and management , Architecture conservation, industrial design…etc are specialized courses in PG.
In AndhraPradesh:
In Andhra pradesh there are 12 colleges facilitating the Architecture Engineering. It is providing 6 years of Part time Architecture Engineering, 5 years of Architecture Engineering and 4 years of Planning.
Careers:
Architecture Engineering is needed in each and every aspect. While government is going to undertake a public needed project, railways , National buildings and Town and country Planning and lastly National Institute of urban affairs. In every project Architecture Engineering is must thing so jobs offers will be good.
Skills:
Architecture Engineer should have creativity, observation skills and Analytically and mathematical ability and mainly drawing skills. Architecture Engineer should have skill of designing in such a way the clients should attract to their planning. Designing phase is the major part of building construction and Architecture Engineer should involve until the construction is handover to a civil Engineers and others belongs to construction. Architecture Engineer having the knowledge on software regarding the construction will be beneficial to their skills as well as financially. The Main software course to learnt by an Architecture Engineer is CAD (Computer Aided Design).
Salary:
As Architecture Engineer is the initial person for the construction field. Their will pay about 40,000 per month from starting on wards In colleges there will be placements so their will have a chances of getting job will a gross salary of 5 Lakhs per Annam After Receiving the certificate and did works in one or two constructions Architecture Engineer can built their own consultant so as to earn more and more. Communication is the main thing to be maintain to attract the clients. Architecture Engineer future can be within their communication.
